Newsies at Tuacahn!

I have been wanting to see a show at Tuacahn theater in St George (Ivins) , Utah for forever long! Tony said he would get tickets for our anniversary but unfortunately the season had not started quite yet. But he did get tickets and just this past weekend we finally got to go. Squee! Super excited to finally go here and see a show for reals.

The show we got to see was Newsies! Tony forgot about the time change so we were an hour and a half early but we found plenty to do to occupy the time.

A dance group in the area performed some cool routines as a pre-show.

There were fun photo ops and we also walked around the gift store which was pretty big. I was sad though not to find a Tuacahn magnet for our fridge collection.

We were not allowed to have cameras out during the performance so what I am sharing is just before and after. They always put on good shows here so if you have ever considered going, I'd highly recommend it! I think if we lived in the area we would get season tickets maybe. 

 

Even Tony enjoyed it and he's not usually a huge fan of musicals.

He was one of my favorite dancers - very energetic and entertaining to watch.
