Family Reunion ~ Day 1

We pretty much hit the ground running when we got to Rockaway Beach. We unloaded a bunch of things from the car. The house had an elevator which made it handy to get our belongings to the floor we were staying on. It was a 3 floor living space Airbnb.

Dining room area. I just loved the picture above the table.

The kitchen was a decent size and a room off to the left held a bathroom and another one was a pantry.

Tall fireplace with TV above it. Stairs to all the levels. The elevator was reserved for the grandparents or luggage when people arrived and left.

The garage had been turned in to a game room.

Cozy downstairs with couches that convert into beds.

Back patio to the beach. So cool that it was right there.
There is a hot tub to the right in the photo. Which sadly, I didn't use. A few people did but I just never got in!

The bedrooms were nice and the beds seemed comfortable.

The showers were fancy with all the faucets and different directions the water sprayed.

I have a photo somewhere but I didn't care for the black toilets. It was a little unnerving.

Ok, on that note - back to the kitchen!

Tony got to work making fajitas for dinner because we had the first night's meal! They turned out super delicious!

Tony's sister Trishna planned some fun games throughout the weekend. One was human pinata so Justin, Elaine and Tony got candy taped to them and the kids chased them through the sand to grab the candy. It was pretty funny to watch.

It was a great way to end our first day together on the beach.
