Santa Ana AirBNB

We arrived at our Airbnb around 10pm on Friday night. This is in Santa Ana in an apartment complex but we had our own entrance which was interesting. Tony booked this and used some discount codes he had so I think we only had to pay $22 to stay one night.

The instructions said to look for the smile face in the window. That was helpful!

The room had 2 full size beds on the floor with some fun wall vinyl stickers. I am guessing this is a kids room when its not being used as an Airbnb.

There was also a desk with a microwave on it and a rack to hang clothes on in front of the closet. Pandy loved this place because there were other pandas. I saw a spider above the closet on Friday night and left the light on for most of the night after I sprayed it with my face spray and made it fall to the floor somewhere. I hope it died.

The bathroom was pretty tiny but felt clean despite 2 daddy long legs behind the door which startled me. I killed one but the other one climbed up the wall so I shut the door all the way. The next morning I didnt see it anywhere. Agh.

Read the vinyl sticker on the wall....hehe

Overall I would not stay here again. While it was clean and for the most part quiet and the wifi was fast, the worst part was the spider, no fridge in the room and Tony didnt want to text the host to see if we could put our expensive food from our Valentine dinner in their fridge so it went bad which made me so upset inside. Also, on the desk was a spare key and a parking lot gate remote but we were only staying one night so we didn't need to use those things.

The worst part was having to wait for someone else to open the gate for us. It was difficult to find close street parking to wait so we could see if anyone came in or out and so we could get in through the gate. We figured the next morning that the gate would open for us so we could leave but nope! We had to wait for someone else to come in with a remote to open the gate. Very annoying. I guess its not the safest of neighborhoods I guess?
