Sunday morning in Page turned out to be perfect for flying. It's crazy that the wind going a bit too fast or the wrong direction can throw off the day if you are a hot air balloon pilot.

Thinking about landing soon
Can't land in the trees. Or on a fence. Or on a roof. Still searching..
We were getting really close to some things, I was getting a little nervous but knew we were not going to hit anything. And we didn't.
The smokestacks out in the distance were a good indicator of which way the wind was going for the day. Or at least, for the morning time - the time that matters because that's when all the balloons would be flying.
We landed just before the road ended and people headed out into no man's land. Well, not really. You can see quite a few balloons went out that way but our pilot didn't want to go out that far so we managed to end on the last street before the drop-off. Crazy time but it all ended well!
