Meeting Our New Teardrop Camper

April 2013

Welcome, beautiful little teardrop! The hunt was over when we drove to New Mexico a few years into being married and saw this homebuilt teardrop camper. We checked it out and decided it would work for us and purchased it. We had fun taking it home and got a lot of comments and looks along the way.

Sadly the solar panels that came on it started falling off as we went down the road so we had to quickly pull over and find tools to undo all the screws holding the panels on.

Things we are going to do/want to do:

 Get a mattress/foam pad
Underneath and inner fenders need to be waterproofed
caulk inside of windows-rig
stain areas of wood that need to be stained on the inside
main wire battery to fuse block and master switch
real hatch struts
propane
water
auxiliary tent
additional led lighting
110 cord
