Exploring Trona Pinnacles

In January it finally worked out to go see the Trona Pinnacles, up close and personal. At least until it got dark, and then we were like, peace out! If we had been prepped to camp I think we would have done that. Maybe another time!

Honestly I had never heard of Trona, CA before I moved to Ridgecrest, let alone the 'Trona Pinnacles'.  These are just a few pictures I got after leaving the Gem-O-Rama in October, from a distance.  We will be going here again soon, maybe even this weekend so I can get some closer up pictures!
