Loveland Living Planet Aquarium Lantern Festival

Tony & I took my sister's kids to the aquarium for their lantern festival. Tony & I are not new to this but I find it to be so much fun every time. The theme was sea creatures (since it is an aquarium) but the other added animals were a fun touch too - especially the birds!

We started out walking to the right, it seemed like the right direction to go. We made our way very slowly because there were so many cool lanterns set up and interactive things to do plus fun photo spots. My hands got so cold taking photos but it was worth it.

The kids seemed to have a lot of fun with all there was to see and do. We easily spent a couple hours walking around and enjoying all the exhibits.

Like seriously, how awesome are these lanterns! The bubble machine was a hit as well.

I was blown away by all the incredible details...

Feeling like we were under the sea 😏

The puffer fish were my favorite and the first (biggest) one was puffing in and out

Any area with birds or parrots had my full attention

Group photo taken by Tony.
We wanted the birds to show up so I apologize we are looking so shadowy

Getting under an octopus! The kids had fun running around under here

These moon shaped light swings were also a big hit

Interactive game that Reese and Riley found to play

A tunnel room with mirrors, music, animations and lights

Saw these fun bears on our way out. Overall even though it was a bit spendy for us all to go, it was worth it because of how well put together this event was. If you would like to check it out for yourself, you can click here for information, tickets, etc.
