Our pilot Judy, from Arizona, has never been to the hot air balloon festival in Mesquite, NV before but this year she was able to get in and so Tony & I plus all our favorite crew came to help her with her balloon. Our friend Kylee and her family, Pat & Joyce and Hubert from the Netherlands! Great group of people I am so blessed to know.
The early mornings are hard for me but the end results are so worth it when going to a successful hot air balloon event.
This morning Judy took Hubert and Joyce up for a ride.
Oh hey there Humpty Dumpty!
From inflated to taken down.
We had some of the nicest people help us with the balloon when we landed on their street.
Lunchtime at the casino. The food was actually pretty good and decently priced.
Tony waited for me in the car while I got some nice pictures of this pond with the sunset.
Then it was time to head back to the Casablanca parking lot for the balloon glow!
A nice sunset over here as well. Love the palm trees along the water.
And then of course - balloons glowing! Which are always so pretty.
A great first full day crewing and exploring Mesquite.
