On this round, we decided to try root-beer float bars, orange creamsicles, cheesecake Tony brought home from work, ice cream sandwiches, some ice cream pie leftover from Pi Day, and scoops of strawberry ice cream.
Everything turn out just great. It was fun to sample all the different treats!
No more worrying about it melting too fast. Because freeze dried foods don't melt!
Cheesecake and ice cream sandwiches on the left. Some people take the sandwiches out of the wrapper and some people leave them in. You don't have to cut them up but we wanted pieces a little easier to eat. We definitely could have cut them smaller, like the size of the cheesecake.
Here's the popsicles, strawberry ice cream and more cheesecake
Time to package it up!
Harvest Right sent us these bags when we called to upgrade the machine software, which was so nice of them to do. They hold a bit less than the bags we got with our machine though. So, that's a bit of a bummer. Irregardless, great to get some free bags from the company.

Wow. I didn't realize you could freeze dry candy. Was it still pretty sweet? I think I have seen freeze dried ice cream before, but never have tasted anything like it!
